Every consultancy works differently. Some come to us with a fully specified drawing and a target price, others come with a problem their client has described and not much more than that.
Where the brief is fixed, we quote it, build it and deliver it. Where it isn’t, we’ll work with you to develop it: what the product actually needs to do, the environment it will live in, the loads it will carry, how often it will be handled and by whom. From there we advise on material, gauge, form and finish, and we’re honest about the trade-offs. A slightly different profile might cut cost significantly. A change of material might halve the weight and improve handling for the end user. A tweak to the dimensions might mean it nests, stacks or ships far more efficiently.
The result is a product that meets the requirement your client actually has, at a price that works for the contract you’re bidding on or delivering against. And because everything is designed and fabricated in the UK, you get shorter lead times, easier revisions and a supply chain you can explain to your client with confidence.

Yes. We work at both ends, from a single prototype through to scheduled repeat volumes called off against a contract.
It depends on the product and the volume, but because everything is fabricated in house in South Wales, lead times are shorter and more predictable than an imported equivalent, and design changes don’t reset the clock.
