Sky Garden

Bar top for London’s Sky Garden.

Sky Garden is London’s highest public garden where visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the city. The famous
enlarged glass dome of 20 Fenchurch Street is dedicated to three storeys of exquisitely landscaped public gardens and
London’s most exclusive social spaces, including observation decks and an open air terrace.

At the very top of the Sky Garden is the Fenchurch restaurant. It has a stylish and sleek interior, and offers those who dine an incredible view of the capital while they eat the most exquisite food and drinks with their friends.

Creating timeless architectural bar tops is our passion, so we were excited to get this project started.

The challenge

The client requested a bar top for their new restaurant which matched their goal of being a trendy and
contemporary place for Londoners to hang out.

It’s the place in the city where people go for a social escape, make memories with friends and dine in one of the most exquisite settings. Because of the stunning views of the whole of the capital – it’s one of the hottest places in the city go. Everyone who visits must be dressed to impress. What makes the whole experience is the bar located at the back of the restaurant. This is where diners order their favourite cocktail, glass of champagne or lager – perhaps mid-conversation with their date or friend.

The bar top looks contemporary and exclusive – fitting perfectly with the decor of the Fenchurch restaurant.  It makes diners feel like they’ve escaped the busyness of London.

The solution

We tailored the bar top to appeal to trendy Londoners and visitors and one which reflected the exclusive and luxurious feel of the restaurant. Their metal of choice was pewter – a popular material for stylish bar tops.

The results

We worked hard to ensure that the finished product looked polished and pristine to make the architect’s vision a reality. It’s no easy feat to create an artistic masterpiece, and one which is so positively received, but our team of experts did it – and to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
