We were brought into this project by South Wales Contractors, a partner we’ve successfully collaborated with on numerous occasions. We were asked to support with a highly detailed roof design for Coychurch Crematorium.
This was a complex project that demanded precision at every stage. It involved manufacturing custom jigs and fixtures to produce specific shapes.
Achieving consistent alignment across the structure was critical, as was selecting the correct grade of aluminium to deliver both the required performance and visual finish. With such a considered design, even minor inconsistencies would have impacted the overall aesthetic.
Drawing on our fabrication expertise, we developed bespoke jigs and fixtures to ensure each component was perfectly formed. Careful coordination throughout the installation phase ensured everything aligned exactly as designed.
We introduced a contrasting finish by painting the aluminium flashing in a darker tone, while keeping the soffits and fascias lighter.
The completed installation delivers a stunning, well-defined roof structure that complements the overall design of the crematorium.
The result is a refined and thoughtfully executed solution that demonstrates how precision manufacturing and attention to detail can transform complex architectural requirements into a seamless final outcome.
