We are proud to announce that the British Heart Foundation has been selected by the team as our charity of the year.
Throughout the coming year we will be working towards raising as much as we can to donate to the vital work that the British Heart Foundation achieves daily for those who need them.
This collaboration marks the beginning of the initiative to give back to charity; as the first official charity we have chosen to support at Customised Sheet Metal, we’re looking forward to taking part in a variety of events and sponsorship challenges throughout the year to raise money.
The British Heart Foundation fund over £100 million of research every year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them; heart diseases, stroke, vascular dementia and diabetes.
Founder and Senior Engineer at Customised Sheet Metal, Malcolm Pearce, on choosing to support the British Foundation said:
“If we are going to support a charity then BHF is at the top of my list. Their work is second to none with specialist information available when required, a quick response and very personal communication – all when an individual is in trouble, needing guidance and reassurance.
“They also provide those in need with information from fellow sufferers network adding to the brilliant after care guidance; including diet, exercise which in turn reduces the stress. I am very much looking forward to taking part in the activities we have planned to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation.”
We will be kicking off raising money with an Easter egg challenge, which will be to guess how many eggs are in the jar, and the winner with the closest guess will win the jar of Easter eggs. Follow us on our social media pages to find out how we get on.

“BHF Cymru is funding pioneering research, to help find preventions, treatments and cures for those people living with these conditions. Without support from companies like CSM, we can’t fund lifesaving breakthroughs for the 340,000 people in Wales living with heart and circulatory diseases.”
